Welcome to ÅŒpawa Community Church. A place that is full of worship and the celebration of God. We have an amazing facility where we can praise God and fellowship after our service. We would love to see new faces in the congregation so come and check us out. We worship on a Sunday morning at 10am and have weekly groups that meet together. Welcome to Opawa Community Church. It is an honour to lead this church through the next few chapters of its 100+ year journey so far.
As minister of a such a storied church Sharyn & I find it a privilege to help lead the congregation as it faces up to the challenges of mission and ministry in the 21st century. We come to this role with 20+ years of ministry experience across all age demographics. It is our hope that together we can empower the congregation to be a real and substantial blessing to our community. We want this to be a place of hope and peace in the midst of these very unsettling times in which we live.

When this opportunity opened at Opawa I thought it would be a great way to get more involved with my church and the community. It has been a blessing to be a part of the congregation here at Opawa Community Church, and it is now an honour to fill this new position as the “Social media/ Advertisement & Youth and Young adults.” Being a part of what goes on here at Opawa and meeting so many different people. After leaving school I have spent lots of my time teaching and leading on Christian camps in America and around New Zealand. I have had the privilege of growing up in a Christian family and having God at the forefront of my life. Now I get to share such an amazing faith and story with the people around me. When I'm not not working spend lots of time in the outdoors.
